Annual Reviews

Even though you will hear from us often, we still like to meet for a general annual checkup at least once year.

  • We go over account performance and any impacts to your big picture.
  • Check-in on budget, cash flow, savings and debt.
  • We talk about what is on our radar for the next year.

Our Approach to

Asset Management

We firmly believe that you can’t responsibly manage someone’s investments, or act in a fiduciary capacity, without understanding their full picture. As an Independent Firm, we have the flexibility to choose the investment vehicle that is best suited for your situation. The majority of our ongoing relationships are fee-based to provide maximum transparency. By completing a financial plan first, we can develop an investment strategy that takes your goals, comfort with investment risk, and any specific interest you have, like Socially Responsible Investing, into account. We will educate you on the options so you feel comfortable making decisions and we will always make sure you know what fees are involved.

How We Charge

The fee for ongoing planning relationships is made up of two parts: an annual planning fee + an asset management fee.

If you’ve made it this far, you will not be surprised to learn that our annual planning fee is based on complexity. Our asset management fee is a blended rate that reduces as your assets with us grow. We go into detail on how this works during our comprehensive planning process and make sure you understand how you will pay for our services before we set anything up.
